Old Isle of Wight Castles flag available to buy online from Midland flags.

The Isle of Wight county council flag is taken from the Isle of Wight Arms granted in 1938. The castle featured represents Carisbrooke Castle, the seat of historical Governors. The blue surrounding field and three gold anchors represent the Island status and maritime history. This Isle of Wight castles flag was replaced by the official Isle of Wight ‘waves’ flag in 2009 after a competition to design a new flag.
