Nicknamed Erfalasorput, translated to our flag, the Greenland Flag was adopted on June 21st, 1985 with it's design of using two horizontal bars consisting of white, at the top half of the flag, and red at the lower half of the flag, the flag also features a small disc positioned slightly to the hoist side of the flag. Unlike the flag itself the colours of the disc are reversed meaning the red is covering the top half of the flag and the white is the bottom of allowing the disc to stand out.
